Summer Pie Social
Let’s take a trip back to a time of simple summer days, shared with friends. Using patterns and recipes from the book Sew Easy as Pie by Chris Malone, Diane will host a delightful series called the “Summer Pie Socials”. Not only will Diane teach you how to make some really great sewing projects, she will also provide a freshly baked pie for each class to share. Each project is easy, and great to keep or give as a gift. Come have fun sewing and then socializing with a piece of yummy pie each month of the summer. Simple, basic sewing skills are all that’s needed, and you can use your own machine or one of ours. This is a wonderful “girlfriend” class - or come and make some new friends. Purchase of Chris Malone’s book is required - available at Paramount.

A valance is more of a window dressing than a covering, and so it can be more fun than practical. The fabric ties are an interesting detail and quite easy to make.
