February:
     Project: The Quick Corky Wallet: Try your hand at sewing cork with a simple and quick envelope-style wallet! This easy project makes for great gifts and showcases the utility of non-stick presser feet.
     Technique: Free-Motion Quilting - Quilting Fillers: Learn the basics of free-motion quilting, how to get started, as well as a few practice tips and tricks. Learn beginning free-motion skills practicing simple wavy lines. Turn those wavy lines into basic fillers such as meandering, pebbles and swirly paisleys. This project will give you ample opportunity to practice your skills.

March:
     Project: Wacky T-Shirt Throw:
This Wacky T-shirt throw will go together easy and fast. Cut the focal point from your T-shirt and add strips to the sides and top and bottom to make it a 14-inch square. Stitch 20 together to make a 48 by 64 inch top and then quilt as you desire!
     Technique: Overlock - Balanced Stitch: Successful serging begins with understanding the stitch. Learn to dissect the components of 4-thread overlock stitch formation. Then work to troubleshoot a balanced stitch and gain the confidence to adjust settings for all your textile and creative needs.

April:
     Project: Fast Fun Placemats: These fast and fun placemats are made with Soft and Stable by Annie and 2.5 inch wide strips of fabric. The ever popular flip and sew method will make fast work of these placemats. You will want to make as set for every season or occasion.
     Technique: Foot Feature - Invisible Zipper Foot: Learn how easy it is to add an invisible zipper to any project. Using the Invisible Zipper Foot and a straight stitch, we will create a small bag, showing you how to quickly add that professional look of an invisible zipper.

May:
     Project: Modern Heart Wall Hanging: Make this sweet scrappy heart wall hanging with a modern twist. Learn applique, embellishment with decorative stitches and maybe even design your own stitches! This project is beginner friendly.
    Technique: Free-Motion Quilting - Quilting with Rulers: Learn what you need to get started as you venture into this increasingly popular machine quilting technique. Rulers can ope up a whole new world of free-motion quilting. As long as you can move the quilt under the needle, you can do rulerwork. The experienced machine quilter willl find rulerwork techniques add interest to their free-motion skills.

June:
     Project: Take-Along Pouch: The Take-Along Pouch is a fun, simple project that is useful Make them as quick gifts, or make several of them to store all the little items that you want to "take along". Learn buttonholes, sewing in a casing, and a simple turning technique.
     Technique: Overlocker - Gathering: A great advantage to using a overlocker (serger) is differential feed. Learn the basics of this machine funciton and how to use it to create a gathering or stretching effect in your projects. Further enhance your ruffles by using the gathering presser foot. We will show you how!
