AccuQuilt English Paper-Pieced Hexies - Eugene

English paper-piecing is a style of quilting that is perfect for using up all sorts of small left-over fabric bits, and the sewing is so portable! Traditionally the technique involved lots of time cutting little templates out of some sort of stiff paper, basting the scraps to the paper, sewing the pieces, then pulling out the stiff paper.  There is a faster way!!!!  In this class we’ll cut, fuse and glue templates to fabric, all cut so very quickly and precisely using the Accuquilt cutter and die, and we’ll sew some simple shapes.  We’ll also explore what other Accuquilt die shapes may be adaptable to this technique.

Instructor: Diane Williams                                   Capacity: 8
