Christmas in November - Special Occasion Napkins - Eugene



Beautiful napkins make every table more special. And they are easy, andFAST! Mix up your fabric choices and you can be ready for any occasion. They also make lovely gifts. In this class you will learn how to make perfect mitered corners every time and get suggestions for how to make other table accessories with the leftover fabric bits. Sample napkins finished size: 17" X 17" and use a panel with four framed images approximately 16.5" X 16.5".

Supplies needed for 4 napkins:

  1. Sewing machine in good working order, power cord, foot control, manual
  2. Standard presser foot and zigzag stitch plate
  3. 1-1/2 yds main fabric (100% cotton preferred), prewashed
  4. 1 yd of contrast/coordinating fabric (100% cotton preferred, prewashed
  5. Needle and bobbin thread to match main fabric
  6. Fabric scissors
  7. Fabric marking pen
  8. Long quilter's ruler
  9. Wonder Clips or straight pins
  10. Recommended: Walking foot/dual feed
  11. Recommended: Fabric folding pen
  12. Recommended: Fabric glue pen or Glue-Baste-It
  13. Recommended: Precision Turning Tool or EZ Point & Turner
