Paper Piecing Guided Open Sew - Eugene

Need a little help with an ongoing foundation paper piecing project? Or, do you need help getting started? This is the open sew for you!
Come in with your pattern and project, and you can work on it all class! The class with start with a short lecture, then everyone will work on their project and Laura will be there to help. It's fun and easy, once someone shows you how!
Please note: you must have a FOUNDATION PAPER PIECING pattern. This is a special technique and a general pattern will not work. Please ask before class if you're not sure about your pattern.
SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:
- the pattern guide sheet and paper pattern pieces
- sewing machine and everything you need to use it (power cord, foot pedal, bobbins, etc.)
- fabric (as specified by your pattern)
- thread
- seam ripper
- rotary cutter
- cutting mat (12” x 18” or larger)
- regular cutting ruler
- Add-A-Quarter ruler
- small iron
- ironing surface
- pins (best: long, thin, flat head pins)
Optional but helpful and recommended:
- walking foot (highly recommended)
- extra needles
- Wonder Clips
- thin, flexible ruler (to help fold the paper)
- small scissors or snips
- serger tweezers or hemostat (to help remove the paper)
