Intro to Garment Sewing - Eugene

This is a two-part class designed to introduce you to tools and techniques used in sewing clothing. In the first class, we will focus on tools and terminology. In the second class, we will delve further into techniques and pattern information.

Supplies:

Sewing machine and components to make it go and with standard accessories
Good quality thread to contrast with your fabric--please no black!
New 80/12 universal needle
1/2 yard cotton fabric (quilting cotton) in a solid light color
Seam gauge
Measuring tape
Marking tool (chalk, chalk pencil, chalk wheel, Frixion pen, etc.)
Small scissors or snips
Cutting shears or rotary cutter and mat

Please remember that there are no returns on classes. If you cannot attend class, you are welcome to send someone in your place. Due to copyright laws, books and patterns cannot be returned or exchanged.
