Twilight Garden - Eugene

This year-long exploration of the Bernina B990 sewing, embroidery and quilting machine starts in January. We’ll play with decorative stitches, jumbo stitches, shape designer, tucks, couching, circular sewing and precision piecing. And that’s just the first five months! After that we’ll use the cutwork tool, create appliques in embroidery and do bobbin work stitching with heavier thread. And, finally, we’ll finish up with more piecing, different methods of quilting and a final binding. Whether you make it in the original “twilight” colors or choose your own color scheme (like Millie’s Tropical Garden), you will end up knowing your B990 inside and out by the end of the year! Each monthly class will consist of lecture, video and demo of techniques. (This quilt can also be done on the Bernina B880+, B790Pro and B790+.)
