Intro to Apparel: Pajama Play - Salem

Sew up something simple and cozy while you learn the basics of taking measurements, reading patterns, and apparel construction. These pajama pants are the perfect introduction to sewing your own clothes!
Materials:
-Sewing machine and everything to make it work
-Utility foot, overcast foot (optional)
-Serger (optional)
-Flannel, amount dependent on size; anywhere from 1 - 2 1/2 yds 45" flannel
-1" wide elastic, dependent on size 7/8 - 1 1/2 yds
-1/4" twill tape, 3/4 yd
-Polyester thread to coordinate with flannel
-Sewing pins/clips
-Frixon pen or fabric marking method of choice
-universal 80/12 needle recommended
-Sewing snips
-Sewing scissors
-Simplicity Pattern S9129
-Seam ripper
-Safety Pin or Bodkin
-Rotary cutter (optional)
-Pattern weights (optional)
