Simple Serging: Reusable Produce Bags - Salem

Sew sustainable! Use your serger to make colorful, reusable drawstring produce bags!
Materials:
-Serger and everything to make it go
-Sewing machine for top stitching
-Four cones of coordinating serger thread
-1/2 yd cotton mesh
- Fat eighth of quilting cotton
-Cotton drawstring; 1/2" wide cotton twill tape, sturdy ribbon, webbing or you can make your own with quilting cotton
-Bodkin or safety pin to thread the drawstring
-Tapestry or flat needle for threading the tails
-Basic sewing compliment: clips, fabric marking tool, Quilt Smart 6x24 ruler, rotary cutter, etc.
