Margo's Secure Zip-top closure safely nestles 1" from the top edge of the bag. Achieve this crisp, professional finish with our innovative Dip-Down Zip-Top technique using a polyester all-purpose zipper.
Features: secure zippered closure, shoulder length fabric handles, 2 handy outside pockets, plus 6 inside pockets to keep you organized.
Finished size approx. 10 1/4" x 9 1/4" x 4"

Materials:

• Fabrics:
  
  • 2/3 yd feature fabric for front pocket, back of bag, handles
  • 1/2 yd front of bag and front pocket lining (I used the same as bag lining)
  • 1/2 yd bag lining
  • 1/2 yd inside pockets and sleeve for Bag-E-Bottom
• Fusible Fleece/Batting:
  • 1/2 yd Dreamy Fusible Fleece SLG106 from Lazy Girl 45" wide or other brand
• Interfacing:
  • 1 yd Face-It Firm SLG104 medium/heavy weight fusible interfacing or other brand
• Zipper:
  • 18" or longer, polyester all-purpose only (do not use a metal or sport-weight zipper)
• Template:
  • 6" square of paper or template plastic for pocket template (I just used scrap paper)
• Bag Support:
  • Bag-E-Bottom size F from Lazy Girl Designs or something thin and firm, roughly 4" x 10 1/4"
• Optional:
  • ribbons and beads for decorative zipper pull
• Sewing machine and everything to make it go
• Basic sewing supplies; scissors, rotary cutter, thread snips, needles, ruler etc.
• Even-Feed or Walking foot (optional but will make it easier)
• 1/4" foot or zipper foot
• Standard presser foot
