Denim Shorts - Salem
Sew some snappy summer shorts while leaning the basics of French seams, flat-felled seams, and invisible zippers!
Materials:
- Pattern, (Assembled and cut out before class!)
- 1 Yard Lightweight or stretch denim
- ½ Yard contrast woven for pocket and facing
- 9” or longer invisible zipper
- Jeans Needle
- Coordinating polyester thread
- Frixon Pen, chalk, or fabric marking method of choice
- Scissors/Rotary Blade
- Sewing machine and all required components to sew
- Invisible Zipper Foot
- Sewing pins or clips
- Ham

Edge stitch foot
Denim foot
Serger with three/four cones of coordinating Serger thread
Hot Hemmer
Washaway Wonder Tape
French Curve
