Walking the Walk-ing Foot -Salem

Strut your stuff and add texture and dimension to your quilt projects with your walking foot or integrated dual feed system. Class covers various methods of basting your quilt sandwich, design selection, and the technique of quilting with your walking foot.
Supplies to Bring:
- Your choice of either:
- Four pre-pieced placemats using your pattern of choice measuring approx. 16"x18" plus four pieces of fabric measuring 20" by 22" to back. Pattern used in class samples is Lines in the Sand and is available upon request.
- OR
- Four pieces of fabric measuring 16"x18" plus four larger pieces measuring 20"x22" to back
- Batting for the four placemats as listed above
- Cotton or polyester thread to coordinate with project
- Sewing machine and all things necessary to make it go (power cord, foot control)
- Walking Foot or Dual Feed System
- Seam guide
- 90/14 Topstitch or quilting needles
- Fabric marking method of choice (Frixon Pen, chalk, etc.)
- Golden Threads Quilting Paper
- Quilting Ruler (6"x24" recommended)
- Safety Pins OR Basting Spray
- Embroidery Tape OR Painters Tape OR Washi tape
- Hand sewing needle
- Small sewing scissors
- Machine quilting gloves (optional)
