Basic Binding - Salem
Learn the basic fundamentals of binding you quilts! Binding will be applied by machine then finished by hand or machine. Various tools, tips, and tricks will be demonstrated so your bindings will never put you in a bind again!
Supplies to Bring:
- 2 1/2" binding strips cut WOF, enough to go around "project" + 10"
- a small quilt project or sandwich to work with
- mug rug, pot holder, etc
- or plain quilt sandwich
- sewing machine and components to make it sew
- thread for binding
- wonder clips or pins
- hand sewing needles (optional)
- specialty binding foot for your machine (optional)
Please remember that there are no returns on classes. If you cannot attend class, you are welcome to send someone in your place. Due to copyright laws, books and patterns cannot be returned or exchanged.
