Classic 48" Umbrella - Salem

A Quick and easy Pattern for Sewing and Serging a cover for a 48" Umbrella Frame


Supplies List
Pattern-Classic 48" Umbrella (this is included in price of class, please bring with you,)
Umbrella frame (included in price of class please bring with you)
Fabric- 54" - 1 1/4 yards         45" - 1 1/2
stripes, plaids, and one way designs require at least 2 1/2 yds. or more..
Notions
Matching sewing machine thread, 3 serger cones (only if you are going to use a serger), fray check, heavy duty thread , hand sewing needle, hot glue (we do have one at the store), waterproofing spray if needed, eight safety pins and scotch tape.
pattern ease. or plastic for template for ease of cutting out pattern
Lace, loily or fringe. lower hem length is approx. 4 1/2 yards

First day we will be making pattern and  cutting out fabric if time will start to sew.
Second day will be sewing and putting it together
